Speech Language Pathologist in Oakland, CA

What we look for:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathology license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• Clinical experience as a school-based SLP, preferably in K-12 environments
• Strong knowledge of evaluation, intervention, and documentation best practices for speech, language, and communication disorders
• Ability to create individualized education plans (IEPs) and work within multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, compassion, and adaptability

In this role, you will:

• Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, and communication disorders for a diverse student population
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs
• Monitor and document progress, adjusting goals and methodologies as needed
• Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to maximize student success
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert recommendations
• Support a welcoming, inclusive learning environment that fosters student growth
