Key Qualifications:

  • Hold or be eligible for state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellow).
  • Experience or strong interest in working with high school populations in educational settings.
  • Solid understanding of school-based speech and language programs, including intervention, assessment, and individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and faculty.
  • Must be comfortable working on-site; no virtual-only services (VOCO) allowed.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to high school students with a variety of needs.
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to develop targeted IEP goals.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, and parents to support student progress and foster an inclusive academic environment.
  • Maintain detailed and timely documentation of sessions, progress notes, and required paperwork.
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings, team consultations, and professional development as required throughout the school year.
