Candidates will thrive in a collaborative, in-person environment, as this position requires your presence on-site—virtual-only services are not an option. You’ll be supported throughout a streamlined hiring process, which features two interview stages: a virtual conversation followed by an on-site visit, so you can get acquainted with the school’s atmosphere.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid California SLP license or eligibility for licensure
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or qualification as a Clinical Fellow (SLP-CF)
- Previous school-based experience preferred, ideally with high school populations
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organization skills
- Passion for helping adolescents achieve their fullest potential
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with communication and language challenges
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop and execute Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Participate actively in parent meetings, team consultations, and school-based interventions
- Maintain accurate and timely records of student progress and service delivery
- Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere for diverse learners
