Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required
  • California SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous school-based experience preferred, but strong clinical backgrounds are welcome
  • Ability to travel between multiple school locations as assigned
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver therapy services to students with speech, language, and communication needs
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student learning and IEP goals
  • Participate in IEP meetings, progress reporting, and ongoing student evaluations
  • Adapt activities and materials to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Provide guidance to teachers and families on strategies to enhance communication skills in educational settings
