Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required
- California SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous school-based experience preferred, but strong clinical backgrounds are welcome
- Ability to travel between multiple school locations as assigned
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver therapy services to students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student learning and IEP goals
- Participate in IEP meetings, progress reporting, and ongoing student evaluations
- Adapt activities and materials to meet the diverse needs of students
- Provide guidance to teachers and families on strategies to enhance communication skills in educational settings
