Seeking two dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide services across multiple sites in a supportive school setting near Oakland, CA. This contract opportunity offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, with manageable caseloads designed to foster your professional growth and ensure meaningful connections with students.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid CCC-SLP credential (ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- California SLP license, or eligibility to obtain prior to start date
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred, but new graduates with strong clinical skills are welcome to apply
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver direct therapy to students with a range of speech and language needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary educational teams to support student progress and IEP goals
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation for compliance with school and state requirements
- Travel between multiple school sites within the district as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings, staff consultations, and professional development activities
