Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility
  • Previous school-based experience and/or strong interest in working with diverse student populations
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability to different caseloads and work environments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students
  • Develop and implement IEPs based on individual student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure comprehensive care
  • Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Support students across various grade levels with a broad range of needs, from mild articulation to complex communication challenges
