Step into a rewarding contract role working with students from Pre-K through 8th grade for the 2026-2027 school year. You’ll have the opportunity to provide vital speech and language services, making a real impact on students’ communication skills and confidence. This position offers a balanced schedule: work three days a week, 6.5 hours per day, giving you time for other pursuits or responsibilities outside of work.

As the lead speech-language pathologist, you’ll serve as both case manager and provider of direct therapy to a manageable, focused caseload. This hands-on role allows you to focus your skills where they’re needed most, with 6 speech-only students under your case management, and direct services for approximately 29 students overall.

What you’ll bring:

  • Valid SLP license in California
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Experience serving students in school settings, PK–8th grade preferred
  • Strong collaborative, organizational, and communication abilities
  • Ability to manage cases and provide high-quality direct interventions

Your responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy tailored to individual and group needs
  • Conduct assessments; develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Serve as case manager for speech-only students, overseeing plans, progress, and documentation
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school professionals
  • Maintain accurate records and ongoing communication with stakeholders
