This position offers a flexible schedule, allowing you to choose which two days per week you’ll provide services onsite. As you work closely with students, educators, and families, your specialized skills will help ensure that each child receives the attention and support they need to succeed.
Qualifications & Ideal Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist licensure with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Active CTC (California Teaching Credential) required
- School-based experience preferred, particularly with middle school populations
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to evidence-based intervention and progress monitoring
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver diagnostic and therapeutic services to students onsite, assessing and addressing a variety of speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with multidisciplinary teams
- Collaborate with school staff, parents, and caregivers to support student goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and required reports in compliance with school and state standards
- Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to a positive school culture
