What you'll bring:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid California SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Experience working with school-aged children preferred
  • Ability to assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for a broad range of speech and language disorders
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Positive attitude, adaptability, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative educational setting

Primary responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments and evaluations
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services for students
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to monitor student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with school and regulatory standards
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Offer professional guidance to school staff and families regarding communication strategies
