Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited program
- Current California SLP license or eligibility for licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY candidates encouraged to apply
- Previous experience in K-12 school settings strongly desired
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide screening, assessment, and therapy for students with speech, language, and communication disorders in an educational setting
- Develop and implement IEPs, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to meet student goals
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Consult and partner with teachers, parents, and staff to support student communication needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the overall development of student plans
- Support a diverse student population through individualized and group therapy sessions
