Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP license in California (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
- Clinical competence and knowledge of best practices in evaluating and treating speech, language, and communication disorders
- Experience in a school-based setting preferred, but strong new graduates are encouraged to apply
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to tailor interventions for diverse student populations and foster strong partnerships with staff and families
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and identify students’ unique speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals
- Deliver direct and consultative speech and language services in both individual and group settings
- Maintain accurate and timely student records, progress reports, and documentation
- Collaborate with educators and families to support students’ academic and social-emotional development
- Participate in IEP meetings and assist with the development of appropriate goals
- Serve as a resource for staff on communication strategies and classroom modifications
This contract position offers a highly competitive hourly rate of $60-$80, commensurate with experience and expertise.
