Grades K - 5 Speech Language Pathologist in Oakland, CA

What You Bring:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid SLP licensure in California or eligibility for state licensure
• Previous experience working with school-aged children, especially K–5 preferred
• Strong collaboration skills for working with teachers, families, and other specialists
• Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Adaptability to meet the needs of a diverse student population

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in elementary students
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students’ IEP goals
• Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy sessions in individual and small group settings
• Track progress, adjust interventions as necessary, and maintain accurate records
• Attend and participate in IEP meetings to provide input and communicate with families and staff
• Offer consultation and resources to educators and caregivers to foster inclusive learning environments
• Remain current on best practices and maintain required credentials
