School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Oakland, California

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Valid California SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFY applicants encouraged to apply
• Experience delivering speech therapy services in a school setting is highly valued
• Solid communication, organizational, and documentation skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments, evaluations, and write comprehensive reports
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student’s needs
• Provide both direct and consultative speech-language services
• Maintain accurate and timely records on student progress and outcomes
• Participate in IEP meetings and advocate for students’ communication needs
• Engage with families and staff to support collaborative solutions
• Stay current with best practices and continuing education in the field
