A contract opportunity is available for three Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide essential services in an elementary school setting in Oakland, OR. This assignment runs for the full 2026-2027 school year, starting August 17, 2026, and ending June 11, 2027. Each position requires a commitment of 40 hours per week, managing a caseload of approximately 50 students within the elementary age range.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments to diagnose communication disorders in elementary-aged students.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs.
  • Collaborate effectively with classroom teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines.
  • Provide clinical supervision to clinical fellows as needed.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Experience working in educational settings preferred.
  • Ability to manage a caseload of 50 students efficiently.
  • Open to clinical fellows; willingness and ability to provide supervision.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills suitable for collaborating within a school environment.
