A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students from kindergarten through 12th grade in a vibrant school setting located in Oakland, OR. This contract position offers a full-time role with a caseload of approximately 50 students, focusing on delivering essential speech and language services to help young learners succeed academically and socially.

  • Hours per week: 40
  • Caseload: Approximately 50 students
  • Student Population: Kindergarten through 12th grade
  • Number of Openings: 1

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students across K-12.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address speech-language needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate records and participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.
  • Adapt therapy techniques to meet the unique needs of diverse student populations.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid SLP certification/licensure appropriate for school settings.
  • Experience working in K-12 educational environments preferred.
  • Strong caseload management skills and the ability to tailor services for a variety of speech and language challenges.
  • Comfort working independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Open to clinical fellows—mentorship and development are priorities.
