Speech Language Pathologist in Ocean City, MD

Make a difference in the lives of young learners as a dedicated professional supporting students’ communication growth, working in a collaborative and supportive school environment near Ocean City, MD. This contract role focuses on fostering speech and language development in children from PreK3 through 3rd grade. You'll work both one-on-one and in small groups with a caseload of 40-50 students alongside another experienced SLP, serving students with mild to moderate disabilities.

Expected Start Date: August 24, 2026
Expected End Date: June 30, 2027
Hours per week: 35 (8:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday-Friday)

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• Maryland Department of Health Certification
• Experience providing speech and language services in a school setting is highly valued
• Strong understanding of early childhood development and school-based intervention
• Collaborative spirit and ability to work closely with another SLP and multidisciplinary teams
• Skill in delivering support to students both individually and in small group settings

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language services to students with mild to moderate disabilities
• Conduct assessments, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to foster students’ progress
• Document sessions and maintain accurate records according to school and licensing requirements
• Participate in eligibility and IEP meetings as needed
• Adapt strategies to meet diverse student needs across PreK3 to 3rd grade
• Contribute expertise towards creating an inclusive, engaging learning environment
