Help make a positive impact supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) on a contract basis near Ocean Springs, MS. Collaborate with educators and families to provide essential speech and language services, all while enjoying the flexibility and reward of travel opportunities.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid state SLP license or eligibility to obtain one
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; consideration for Clinical Fellows (CF) when appropriate
  • Previous experience in a school setting is highly valued
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
  • Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students to determine speech and language needs through standardized and informal assessments
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in partnership with special education teams
  • Deliver individual or group therapy sessions tailored to each student’s goals
  • Maintain accurate student records, progress notes, and documentation as required by district policies
  • Provide consultation and support to teachers, families, and staff to facilitate student learning
  • Participate in IEP meetings, staff trainings, and relevant professional development
