Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state SLP license or eligibility to obtain one
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; consideration for Clinical Fellows (CF) when appropriate
- Previous experience in a school setting is highly valued
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students to determine speech and language needs through standardized and informal assessments
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in partnership with special education teams
- Deliver individual or group therapy sessions tailored to each student’s goals
- Maintain accurate student records, progress notes, and documentation as required by district policies
- Provide consultation and support to teachers, families, and staff to facilitate student learning
- Participate in IEP meetings, staff trainings, and relevant professional development
