A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available within a K-12 school setting in Oceanside, CA. This contract role offers flexibility to work onsite or remotely, with full-time and part-time options. Candidates with teletherapy experience are especially encouraged to apply.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or equivalent
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • California state licensure or eligibility for licensure required
  • Experience in school-based settings is preferred, but not mandatory
  • Familiarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and AAC devices is a plus

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive screenings and assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at improving communication skills
  • Provide therapy in both individual and group formats to diverse student populations
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and interdisciplinary teams to support student progress and adjust interventions as needed
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation of therapy sessions and student progress

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Speech Language Pathologist with Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) experience
  • Background in pediatric healthcare and teletherapy service delivery
  • Experience working alongside Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) in school or healthcare environments
