Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current and valid state licensure or eligibility (California)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, though strong CFY candidates may be considered
- Previous experience in educational settings is strongly valued
- Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation requirements
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals
- Maintain accurate and timely records of progress, therapy sessions, and eligibility documentation
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Provide support, strategies, and recommendations for classroom integration
- Attend and participate in IEP meetings and team discussions
