School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Oceanside, California

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current and valid state licensure or eligibility (California)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, though strong CFY candidates may be considered
• Previous experience in educational settings is strongly valued
• Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation requirements
• Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to evaluate students’ speech, language, and communication needs
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals
• Maintain accurate and timely records of progress, therapy sessions, and eligibility documentation
• Collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Provide support, strategies, and recommendations for classroom integration
• Attend and participate in IEP meetings and team discussions
