Key Qualifications:

  • Current and valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Previous experience working in a school, preferably with high school populations
  • Ability to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Commitment to evidence-based practices and individualized instruction

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy to high school students according to IEP requirements
  • Assess, diagnose, and identify students’ needs relating to speech, language, voice, and fluency
  • Develop and implement intervention plans and track progress
  • Maintain accurate records and timely documentation in compliance with legal standards
  • Participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and multidisciplinary collaboration
  • Educate and consult with teachers and parents to support students’ goals in and out of the classroom
  • Foster a positive, respectful environment that encourages student growth
