Key Qualifications:
- Current and valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience working in a school, preferably with high school populations
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Commitment to evidence-based practices and individualized instruction
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to high school students according to IEP requirements
- Assess, diagnose, and identify students’ needs relating to speech, language, voice, and fluency
- Develop and implement intervention plans and track progress
- Maintain accurate records and timely documentation in compliance with legal standards
- Participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and multidisciplinary collaboration
- Educate and consult with teachers and parents to support students’ goals in and out of the classroom
- Foster a positive, respectful environment that encourages student growth
