Key Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license (required)
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Previous experience in an elementary school environment preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide direct and indirect therapy services to students with speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEPs in compliance with educational standards
- Foster positive communication with families and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress records for each student
- Support classroom teachers with resources and strategies for language development
- Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development activities
