The anticipated timeline aligns with a late October start and an eight-week duration. Compensation for this role ranges from $45 to $51 per hour, based on experience.
Ideal candidates bring expertise in pediatric SLP practices, either in-person or via teletherapy, and can easily transition between working with EC-1st grade and occasional 2nd and 3rd graders. New graduates or those completing their CFY are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Current or eligible Wisconsin SLP license
- Pediatric speech therapy experience in educational settings preferred
- Familiarity with the unique needs of early childhood to primary grades
- Previous school-based or teletherapy SLP experience advantageous
- Ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff and families
- Strong communication and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to a varied caseload of students
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Work with a 3:1 model, balancing therapy sessions with IEP management, consults, and planning
- Maintain accurate and timely reports for student progress
- Collaborate with school teams, families, and caregivers
- Flexibility for shorter Fridays, serving a lighter caseload that day
