Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting K-12 students with speech and language services in a single school location near Oconto, WI. This role starts September 21st and continues through May 21st, aligning with the school calendar for a late start to the academic year. Your schedule is set from 7:45am to 3:15pm, Monday through Friday, for a total of 35 hours each week.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP license (or eligibility) for Wisconsin
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Open to Clinical Fellow (CFY) candidates
- Experience in school-based, pediatric, or healthcare SLP environments
- Proficiency with teletherapy platforms a plus
- Prior Wisconsin school experience will make your application stand out
Responsibilities:
- Assess and deliver speech-language therapy to a caseload of 40-50 students in grades K-12
- Develop individualized education programs (IEPs) and document progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to create positive learning outcomes
- Utilize digital tools for assessments, therapy, and documentation as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and team planning, both in-person and virtually
