Make a meaningful impact by providing critical speech-language support to elementary students in a vibrant school community. This full-time, onsite contract assignment offers the rewarding opportunity to work with approximately 50 PreK–4th grade students, covering a 12-week maternity leave. The role is perfectly suited for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist who enjoys working in a school-based setting.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current State SLP License and valid Educator Certificate required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Previous experience with school-aged children or in an educational environment preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to effectively manage an elementary caseload

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy sessions to PreK–4th grade students
  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations as needed
  • Develop, implement, and track IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Communicate regularly with parents, teachers, and school staff regarding student progress and goals
  • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation per school and district guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert recommendations to support student success
  • Foster a positive, motivating environment that encourages student engagement and growth
