School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Odenville, Alabama

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to provide exceptional services over a 12-week maternity leave period, working with a diverse group of approximately 50 students in PreK through 4th grade. The position is full-time, though part-time applicants will also be considered.

Key Qualifications:

• Active state SLP license and Educator Certification (for SLP-CCC)
• SLPAs must be registered with ABESPA
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Experience with school-aged students, preferably in an educational setting
• Clinical Fellows (CFs) and SLPAs are welcome to apply
• Ability to deliver services onsite and collaborate with other school staff and families

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver therapy to elementary students with a range of speech and language needs
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and compliance with all regulatory guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to tailor interventions
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
• Provide consultative support and resources to educational team members as needed
