Speech Language Pathologist in Ogilvie, MN

Bring your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist to an impactful, contract-based opportunity supporting students’ growth and communication skills in a welcoming elementary school setting. This position focuses on providing high-quality speech and language services, beginning with a long-term assignment of approximately 10 weeks starting in October, followed by a flexible commitment of two days per week.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Valid state license to practice as an SLP
• Prior experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
• Knowledge of IEP procedures and school-based documentation requirements
• Commitment to evidence-based therapeutic practices
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and provide direct therapy services for students with speech, language, and communication needs
• Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and document progress
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support each child’s unique goals
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
• Provide consultation and recommendations to classroom teams
• Maintain accurate session notes and compliance with all applicable guidelines
