A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the current school year at a high school serving grades 7 through 12 in Ojai, CA. This contract role offers a unique opportunity to provide both speech-only and comprehensive special education services to diverse student populations. The position is maternity leave coverage, spanning from February through April.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language therapy services to students in grades 7-12 with a range of communication needs.
  • Provide both direct speech therapy and integrated special education support as required.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with educational and regulatory standards.
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred.
  • Experience working with high school students in school settings.
  • Ability to manage caseloads involving speech-only therapy and broader special education services.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Location: On-site role based in Ojai, California.
