You’ll collaborate closely with educators and families to evaluate, diagnose, and provide treatment for speech, language, and communication disorders. Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Florida SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship (CF)
- Experience with K-12 student populations
- Strong assessment, therapy, and documentation skills
- Excellent interpersonal abilities for family and staff collaboration
- Commitment to onsite service delivery (no remote or SLPA roles for this position)
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Deliver direct therapy to students in individual and group settings
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, counselors, and support staff
- Monitor and document student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support teams
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student needs and successes
