School Speech Language Pathologist - Okemos, Michigan

What We’re Looking For:

• Hold a current, active Speech-Language Pathologist license for the state of Michigan
• SLP-CCC required; candidates with CF designation cannot be considered
• Previous school-based or pediatric SLP experience preferred
• Strong collaboration skills with teachers, support staff, and families
• Ability to deliver both individual and group therapy sessions tailored to K–4 students
• Excellent recordkeeping and documentation skills to comply with school and district standards
• Commitment to providing equitable, evidence-based services to a diverse student body

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat students with a variety of speech, language, and communication disorders
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in alignment with IEP goals
• Consult and collaborate with classroom teachers and special education teams
• Document student progress and participate in IEP meetings as required
• Engage families in supporting children’s communication development
• Foster an inclusive, encouraging, and positive environment for every student
