This full-time opportunity runs from August 17, 2026, to November 20, 2026, and is ideally suited for passionate professionals who want to help students reach crucial speech and language milestones during the academic year.
What We’re Looking For:
- Hold a current, active Speech-Language Pathologist license for the state of Michigan
- SLP-CCC required; candidates with CF designation cannot be considered
- Previous school-based or pediatric SLP experience preferred
- Strong collaboration skills with teachers, support staff, and families
- Ability to deliver both individual and group therapy sessions tailored to K–4 students
- Excellent recordkeeping and documentation skills to comply with school and district standards
- Commitment to providing equitable, evidence-based services to a diverse student body
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with a variety of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in alignment with IEP goals
- Consult and collaborate with classroom teachers and special education teams
- Document student progress and participate in IEP meetings as required
- Engage families in supporting children’s communication development
- Foster an inclusive, encouraging, and positive environment for every student
