Make a meaningful impact by supporting students' communication growth in a school-based setting. We're seeking nine full-time Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to work collaboratively with a diverse student population for the 2026-2027 school year. You'll have the opportunity to work with various age groups, accommodating your experience and area of interest.

In this contract position, you’ll benefit from the consistency of a full-time, 37.5-hour work week, following traditional school-year hours. Your assignment will begin at the start of the academic year and extend through to the end, allowing you to provide ongoing support to students and contribute to a positive learning atmosphere.

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

  • Valid SLP license in the state of Michigan (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
  • Previous school-based or pediatric experience is highly valued
  • Strong collaboration skills with educators, staff, and families
  • Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat diverse speech and language disorders
  • Flexibility to work with a range of age groups and caseloads

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individual and group therapy aligned with students’ IEPs
  • Conduct comprehensive speech/language assessments
  • Develop, implement, and monitor appropriate treatment plans
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in IEP meetings
  • Maintain thorough documentation according to school and state standards
  • Foster an encouraging learning environment that supports student progress
