Qualifications and Skills:
- Active licensure and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- SLP-CCC or in progress with SLP-CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year)
- Experience working in schools is highly desirable
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities
- Familiarity with IEP development, documentation, and delivery
- Motivation to support students with diverse communication needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and diagnostic assessments for students
- Develop treatment plans to address speech, language, and communication challenges
- Deliver individual and group therapy sessions, tailored to student needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educators, families, and related services
- Document progress, maintain compliance with school and state requirements
- Adapt approaches to engage students across a range of developmental levels
