Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Licensed (or eligibility for licensure) as an SLP in Kansas
- Previous school-based experience is highly valued, though strong clinical backgrounds are welcome
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with educators, students, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and identify students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to school and student requirements
- Provide direct therapy services in both individual and small group settings
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with school protocols
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
