School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Olathe, Kansas

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with your Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). This full-time role runs during the regular school year, with the possibility to extend for the end of school year as well. You'll make a meaningful impact by fostering communication skills and development in learners, working alongside a collaborative educational team.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
• Valid state SLP license (or eligibility for obtaining)
• Previous school-based SLP experience preferred, but not required
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and indirect speech-language services to students in compliance with IEP goals
• Assess, diagnose, and write reports regarding speech, language, and communication disorders
• Develop appropriate individualized treatment plans and goal setting for students
• Maintain clear and timely documentation of evaluations, therapy, and progress
• Consult collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
• Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility determinations, and multidisciplinary teams as needed
