  • Hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or be ready to complete your Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Current, valid SLP license for Kansas or eligibility to obtain one
  • School-based experience highly valued, though motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide direct therapy to students with speech, language, and communication challenges
  • Design and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
  • Maintain accurate records, document progress, and participate in meetings with teachers and families
  • Provide consultative support to school staff for classroom strategies and accommodations
  • Engage in regular communication to ensure families and team members are updated on student progress
  • Stay current with best practices and continuing education within speech-language pathology
