Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Experience in school-based settings strongly preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities Include:
- Conducting evaluations, screenings, and assessments of students referred for speech-language services
- Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with state and federal guidelines
- Collaborating with teachers, families, and other school staff to support student progress
- Delivering both direct and consultative speech-language therapy to students
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of services and student performance
- Participating in IEP meetings, professional development, and other school-based initiatives
- Providing resources and support to assist classroom teachers with strategies to foster communication skills
