Desired Skills & Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Kansas SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • School-based experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with specialized program caseloads, K–12, a plus
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language services to students in specialized programs, adapting interventions to support individual educational needs
  • Manage a caseload ranging from 18 to 23 students per school, with assignment details finalized before the school year begins
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and evaluate IEPs
  • Conduct assessments, maintain clear documentation, and regularly communicate with educators and families
  • Support early childhood students if open to this age group (details provided for interested candidates)
  • Flexibly cover assigned campuses throughout the assignment, adapting as new school year information is made available
