Set your sights on an exciting contract opportunity working as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 academic year. This role is ideal for dedicated SLPs who are passionate about supporting student growth and fostering effective communication in an educational setting.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Holds or is eligible for ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Open to both experienced clinicians and Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) candidates
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Kansas (or ability to obtain)
- Prior experience working in schools or with pediatric populations is preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students with a variety of needs
- Complete evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans (IEPs), and document ongoing progress
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success in and out of the classroom
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
- Use evidence-based practices to assess and treat students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Contribute to the overall positive and inclusive environment within the educational community
