An exciting opportunity awaits a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) to provide essential services at both an elementary and a high school in the Kansas City area. This contract position, running through May 2027, allows for a flexible schedule determined by student needs, empowering you to prioritize your caseload and collaborate closely with supportive colleagues.

You'll play a pivotal role in student success as you work with a diverse caseload of over 60 students, providing assessment, intervention, and consultative services. Your work will be further supported by an incoming SLPA who will assist in managing caseload demands, ensuring you have the resources needed to deliver high-quality care.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • State licensure or ability to obtain licensure in Kansas
  • Experience in school-based settings strongly preferred
  • Ability to effectively manage a large and dynamic caseload
  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive speech and language assessments
  • Deliver targeted therapy to students in both elementary and high school environments
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with all district and state requirements
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to the SLPA as needed
