Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish required
- Previous experience working with school-aged children, preferably in educational environments
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct SLP services to one student with a primary need for Spanish-language intervention
- Consult and collaborate with educators, school committees, and family members to assess and support the student’s communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Attend and participate in meetings with the committee to finalize service hours and scheduling needs
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of therapy sessions, progress notes, and student outcomes
- Adapt therapy materials and strategies to the linguistic and cultural needs of the student
