This contract-based role focuses on providing high-quality speech therapy to a student in a school setting who requires services in Spanish. The immediate need centers on collaborating with school stakeholders to deliver targeted support tailored to the student's communication goals.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish required
  • Previous experience working with school-aged children, preferably in educational environments
  • Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct SLP services to one student with a primary need for Spanish-language intervention
  • Consult and collaborate with educators, school committees, and family members to assess and support the student’s communication needs
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
  • Attend and participate in meetings with the committee to finalize service hours and scheduling needs
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of therapy sessions, progress notes, and student outcomes
  • Adapt therapy materials and strategies to the linguistic and cultural needs of the student
