Qualifications & Skills:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license (active, in good standing)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
  • Previous school-based experience preferred but not mandatory
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with fellow educators, TAs, and support staff
  • Adaptability to varied caseload sizes and student needs across elementary, middle, and high school levels

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver assessments, therapy, and intervention services for K-12 students with communication disorders
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, TAs, families, and support professionals for holistic student support
  • Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with school and state requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and educational team conferences
  • Provide guidance and training to onsite TAs for enhanced therapy delivery
