Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current or eligible Speech-Language Pathologist license/certification for the state of Mississippi
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; will consider candidates completing their Clinical Fellowship (CF)
  • Prior experience working in school settings welcomed
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation abilities
  • Ability to develop rapport with students, staff, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in K-12 students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student IEP goals
  • Deliver direct and consultative therapy services according to district guidelines
  • Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and documentation required for compliance
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support students’ academic and emotional development
  • Communicate regularly with teachers, families, and administrators about student progress and recommended interventions
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insight
