This full-time, contract position offers the opportunity to work with a manageable caseload of 40-45 students, spanning transitional kindergarten through fifth grade.
As a valued Speech-Language Pathologist, you’ll collaborate closely with educators and families to deliver support and interventions that impact student communication and success in the classroom.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Hold a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Current or eligible California SLP licensure (or credential)
- Experience working in school settings is highly desirable
- Comfortable with evaluation, treatment planning, and therapy for a diverse range of speech and language disorders
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
- Assess and identify speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Provide direct therapy services to students in grades TK-5
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and specialists to support student progress
- Document and report on student outcomes and maintain compliance with IEP requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of goals for students
- Maintain timely and accurate records throughout the 160-170 day contract
Compensation for this contract role ranges from $60 to $70 per hour, reflecting your expertise and commitment to student development.
