Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Valid CA state licensure (or eligibility) for SLP.
- Previous experience working with elementary-aged students is highly desired.
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with educators, support staff, and families.
- Excellent communication and time-management abilities.
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary SLP at one elementary campus for a 160-170 day contract term.
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to a caseload of approximately 40-45 students.
- Conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and regularly monitor and document student progress.
- Work closely with teachers and families to implement effective intervention strategies.
- Attend and participate in IEP meetings, staff meetings, and relevant trainings.
- Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal regulations regarding therapy delivery and documentation.
This contract offers a competitive pay range from $60 to $70 per hour, reflecting your experience and contribution to students’ success.
