This full-time, contract opportunity is ideal for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist ready to support students in grades TK-5. With a manageable caseload of approximately 40-45 students, you’ll have the chance to devote individualized attention to those who need it most—helping them discover their voice and reach key developmental milestones.

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  • Valid CA state licensure (or eligibility) for SLP.
  • Previous experience working with elementary-aged students is highly desired.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with educators, support staff, and families.
  • Excellent communication and time-management abilities.
  • Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary SLP at one elementary campus for a 160-170 day contract term.
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to a caseload of approximately 40-45 students.
  • Conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and regularly monitor and document student progress.
  • Work closely with teachers and families to implement effective intervention strategies.
  • Attend and participate in IEP meetings, staff meetings, and relevant trainings.
  • Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal regulations regarding therapy delivery and documentation.

This contract offers a competitive pay range from $60 to $70 per hour, reflecting your experience and contribution to students’ success.
