We are seeking enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to cover two maternity leaves within a dynamic school setting near Olympia, WA. Available assignments:
- Full-time position from September 4th through January 31st
- Part-time (2 days per week) position, starting ASAP and lasting through the end of the school year
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current SLP - CCC certification
- Valid state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology (or eligibility)
- Experience working with pediatric or school-based populations preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments of students’ speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educational teams
- Provide direct therapy services and monitor student progress towards goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports as required
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, teachers, and staff to support students’ academic success
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
