A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Olympia, WA, serving a K-12 school setting. This contract position runs through June 12, 2026, offering a valuable chance to support students' communication development in an onsite environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing direct speech and language therapy services to a caseload of 45-50 students, spanning kindergarten through 12th grade
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Monitoring student progress and maintaining accurate documentation in accordance with educational standards
- Participating in meetings and professional development as required by the school district
Qualifications:
- Current Washington State Speech-Language Pathologist license or willingness to obtain licensure
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Must be fingerprinted through the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) or be willing to complete fingerprinting
- Experience working with school-aged children in K-12 settings is highly desirable
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Onsite presence required; candidates must be available to work full-time hours (37.5 hours per week)
