Step into a dynamic Speech-Language Pathology assignment supporting elementary students during a maternity leave from September through November. In this full-time, contract role, you’ll play a vital part in helping young learners near Olympia, WA, reach important communication milestones while collaborating with an enthusiastic school community.

Bring your expertise as an SLP-CCC or SLPA to a setting that values your skills and commitment. You’ll manage a caseload of approximately 44-50 students, ensuring each child receives personalized, effective support tailored to their individual needs.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or completion of an SLPA program (as applicable)
  • Current Washington state licensure/certification for SLP or SLPA
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC) required for SLPs
  • Experience working in an elementary school setting preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and assess students’ speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Deliver direct therapy services to elementary-aged students
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to support student progress
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with district and legal requirements
