Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Active state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Previous experience in a school setting is preferred
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Understanding of IEP processes and familiarity with assessment tools

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Deliver direct therapy and monitor progress toward IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary team members
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with federal, state, and district guidelines
  • Provide guidance and education to staff and parents as needed
