This role is based in Olympia, WA, and involves travel to various schools within the district. The position focuses on providing essential speech and language therapy services that enhance students’ communication abilities and academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Travel to multiple school locations as required to provide consistent therapy services.

Qualifications:

  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Experience working in school environments preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language development and disorders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage caseload independently and adapt to changing schedules.
  • Willingness and ability to travel between school sites.
