Key Qualifications:
- Current and active SLP licensure
- Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to deliver dynamic therapy services tailored to student needs
- Proficient in assessment procedures, documentation, and IEP development
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students at the elementary and middle/high school levels
- Conduct comprehensive assessments for initial evaluations and re-evaluations
- Collaborate with special education teams on report writing and Individualized Education Program (IEP) creation
- Engage with families, teachers, and administrators to support student learning and social development
- Maintain accurate records and timely documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
