Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
- Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or full CCCs from ASHA
- Previous experience in a school environment strongly preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to develop and implement IEPs, conduct assessments, and maintain detailed records
Position Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students according to their IEPs
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Complete and maintain accurate documentation for all therapy, progress notes, and required reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and support students’ inclusion in the classroom
- Provide training and support to teachers and staff on communication strategies and accommodations
