Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current or eligible SLP license in the state of Nebraska
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations is a strong asset
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication abilities
  • Comfortable collaborating with teachers, parents, and other specialists

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and deliver evidence-based therapy to students with speech, language, and communication difficulties
  • Consult and collaborate with faculty and families regarding student progress and strategies for classroom support
  • Maintain accurate records to document interventions, outcomes, and progress toward IEP goals
  • Participate in IEP and team meetings, providing professional insights and recommendations
  • Engage in professional development to stay current with best practices and compliance standards
