In this role, you’ll apply your skills to assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders, working closely with teachers, families, and administrators to foster student success. The assignment begins on August 25, 2026, and runs through the duration of the school year.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Wisconsin
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) highly desired; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Experience delivering therapy within a K-12 setting preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Commitment to evidence-based interventions and individualized education plans (IEPs)
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and provide speech-language therapy to students with a wide range of communication needs
- Develop and implement IEPs in accordance with state and federal guidelines
- Collaborate regularly with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families
- Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and services delivered
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team decisions
- Foster a supportive and inclusive atmosphere for every student
