Key Qualifications:
- Active Speech Language Pathology licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Previous experience working with school-aged populations is highly valued
- Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine students’ communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s goals
- Offer both group and one-on-one therapy sessions to address a variety of speech and language challenges
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to maximize student progress
- Document and report progress data in compliance with district and state requirements
- Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans
- Provide ongoing support and resources to classroom staff and caregivers
