School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Oneonta, Alabama

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in a school-based setting as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This full-time, onsite position is designed to cover a 12-week maternity leave, serving approximately 50 students from PreK through 4th grade. There is flexibility for part-time candidates who align with the core requirements, enabling you to balance professional and personal commitments while making a lasting impact.

Key Qualifications:

• Active State SLP License and Educator Certification required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• Previous experience in a school setting or working with elementary-aged children is highly preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to plan and implement individualized therapy for a diverse student population

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy services to students on your caseload
• Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and monitor progress
• Consult and collaborate with classroom teachers, staff, and families to support student goals
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district and state requirements
• Contribute to a positive school environment, supporting both students’ and colleagues’ success
