School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Orange City, Florida

Embark on a rewarding opportunity supporting students in Florida’s educational community! Multiple Speech-Language Pathologist roles are now available for the upcoming academic year, offering a mix of full-time and part-time contracts across various elementary, middle, and high schools. Supervision for Clinical Fellows is available, and immediate placements begin with the new school year in early August.

Openings include both full school-year contracts and maternity leave coverage through December and spring. Assignments span several locations in Volusia County, including DeBary, South Daytona, Deltona, Pierson, DeLand, Orange City, Edgewater, Port Orange, and Daytona. We are actively seeking passionate SLP professionals for both core staffing and coverage roles—please specify your preferred site(s) and assignment(s) when applying.

Desired Experience and Requirements:

• Hold active Florida Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellow applications welcomed (with provided supervision)
• Previous experience working in a school-based setting is highly valued
• Comfortable serving diverse caseloads across elementary, middle, or high school environments
• Available to work 37.5 hours per week during school hours, August through May
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
• Dedicated to supporting student speech, language, and communication goals
• Please note: Only accepting on-site licensed SLPs; not currently hiring SLPAs or teletherapy providers

Responsibilities:

• Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy to support IEP goals
• Collaborate with educators, families, and school teams
• Complete comprehensive assessments and progress reports
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
• Foster a nurturing, inclusive learning environment for all students
