Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in Volusia County, Florida! If you are a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a passion for making a difference, several immediate positions are available for the upcoming school year. Multiple elementary, middle, and high school locations are seeking both full-time and part-time SLPs who bring expertise and compassion to their work. Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply, with supervision available—please note this opportunity is not open to SLPAs or for virtual/remote work.

Ideal candidates thrive when working with diverse student populations and are skilled in the use of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), especially in settings with severe and profound needs.

Qualifications:

  • Current Florida SLP License required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but CFs welcome with available supervision
  • Experience in school settings or with pediatric populations is highly valued
  • Prior experience supporting students with severe-profound needs and implementing AAC
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Flexibility to adapt to various school environments and schedules

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language services as outlined in student IEPs across diverse age groups
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other team members for holistic student support
  • Participate in IEP meetings and necessary documentation
  • Provide education and resources to staff and families regarding AAC
