Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to K-12 students according to IEP goals.
  • Conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and maintain thorough progress documentation.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support students’ communication needs.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team decision-making.
  • Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal regulations regarding student services.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Florida SLP license (required by start date).
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows welcome with supervision provided.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Experience in a school setting, working with diverse student populations, is valued.
  • SLPAs and virtual candidates are not being accepted for these roles.

Details:

  • Part-time contract for the 2026-2027 school year, spanning August 4, 2026, to May 28, 2027.
  • Locations include Taylor Middle High and Hinson Middle, with a weekly schedule of 37.5 hours.
