Step into a vibrant elementary school setting, providing vital support and expertise as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming academic year. This full-time, contract opportunity offers a rewarding role supporting students’ communication needs from September 4th through June 25th, with a consistent weekday schedule from 8:15 am to 3:15 pm (35 hours weekly).

You’ll be working hands-on, conducting testing, assessments, and evaluations as part of a dedicated multidisciplinary team, making a difference for students in an elementary setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in school-based SLP services and a commitment to serving a diverse caseload with compassion and skill.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology with valid NJ SLP license (CCC required)
  • Demonstrated school-based SLP experience
  • Comfortable navigating district procedures and collaborating effectively
  • Proficient in conducting student assessments, evaluations, and providing direct interventions
  • Reliable transportation for consistent attendance
  • Ability to manage a varied caseload independently
  • Must be able to complete onboarding requirements: TB screening, physical, and fingerprints (agency and district level)
  • Not able to consider Clinical Fellows or SLPAs at this time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy to elementary age students
  • Perform thorough testing and assessments in line with NJ and district protocols
  • Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate with IEP teams
  • Engage students and families in the therapy process to encourage progress and success
  • Service a dynamic elementary caseload, meeting a range of speech and language needs
