School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Orange, New Jersey

Step into a district-wide Speech-Language Pathologist assignment where your expertise can make a lasting impact on students’ communication and learning. This full-time contract position, running from now through June 25, 2027, covers 35 hours per week (8:15 AM to 3:15 PM) and calls for an experienced professional passionate about supporting K-12 learners.

Professional Qualifications & Background:

• Holds a current and valid New Jersey SLP license (CCC required)
• Verifiable school-based SLP experience
• Experience with district-wide service delivery
• Able to manage and prioritize a dynamic caseload
• Skilled in conducting comprehensive testing, assessments, and evaluations
• Willing to provide personal testing materials as required by the district
• Not open to CF or SLPA candidates due to supervision limitations
• Comfortable and adaptable within varied school environments
• Committed to transparency and clear communication

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services across district campuses
• Complete all required IEP documentation, evaluations, and progress reporting
• Collaborate with educational staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams to meet student goals
• Maintain timely records and participate in eligibility/IEP meetings as needed
• Uphold all confidentiality and compliance standards as set by the district

Onboarding Requirements:

• Successful completion of TB test and physical
• Fingerprinting for both agency and district
• Reliable transportation for easy movement throughout the district
