School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Orange Park, Florida

Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC) for the 2026–2027 school year. This contract position is based near Orange Park, FL, and offers the opportunity to work on-site within a dynamic educational environment. As part of a supportive team, you’ll provide tailored speech and language services to students from PreK through 12th grade, with caseloads designed to match your expertise and interests.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current, active Florida DOH Speech-Language Pathologist licensure
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
• Successful completion of Florida school district fingerprinting requirements or ability to verify prior clearance through the AHCA Clearinghouse; JLA badge application required
• Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred
• Commitment to fostering communication, inclusion, and success for a diverse student group
• Ability to adapt therapy strategies for mild to moderate needs and, in some locations, students with more severe challenges

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive speech/language therapy to a diverse caseload (ages PreK–12; approximately 60 students, varies by site)
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multi-disciplinary teams to support educational goals
• Complete required evaluations, write IEPs, and maintain accurate progress documentation
• Offer services exclusively on-site—virtual/VOCO modalities are not available
• Participate in school-based meetings, professional development, and ongoing collaboration

This contract offers a set schedule of 35 hours per week (7 hours per day), running from August 10, 2026, through May 28, 2027. Assignments will be at one school location, with options including elementary, high school, and center schools for severe populations.
