School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Orange Park, Florida

This contract opportunity runs from August 10, 2026, through May 28, 2027, offering you the chance to enhance the communication skills and learning potential of diverse student populations in a dynamic, multi-school itinerary throughout the Jacksonville, FL area.

What We’re Looking For:

• Active Florida Department of Health SLP licensure (CCC required)
• School-based experience in speech-language pathology (preferred)
• Confidence supporting mild to moderate caseloads (approximately 60 students, PreK–12; numbers may vary)
• Flexibility to work in an itinerant capacity across multiple school sites (locations will be confirmed)
• Strong collaboration and communication skills within educational teams
• Fingerprinting requirement: must participate in Florida school district clearance process (details provided regarding verification or renewal if already completed in-state)

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech and language therapy in individual and group settings
• Administer comprehensive assessments and evaluations as needed
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with educators, administration, and families to support student goals
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and progress reports
• Serve as a communication resource for staff and families regarding student needs

This assignment involves a steady 35-hour workweek (7 hours per day), allowing you to build meaningful relationships with students and school personnel as you travel between sites.
